Community Links
We have a strong bond with our local communities including our local Church, the National Park and our local villages, so that there is a real sense of sharing in the life of the community.
St Hilda's Church, Danby
School life has a strong Christian foundation nurtured by the commitment of those who work in it, those who govern it and the care of the community that surrounds it. We celebrate a number of services and Christian festivals with the parish community and our partner school Egton CE VA Primary School.
Children are encouraged to attend Church services with the school and join in Church activities. Local ministers take a regular Act of Worship and play an active part in the life of the School.
Our church is a member of the Moorland Parishes http://www.whitbydeanery.org/yorkshire-moorland-parishes.html
Our vicar: Currently in Interregnum but supported by Deacon Sally Wilson.
We are belong to the Diocese of York, our mother church being York Minster. Our older children visit York Minster for Diocesan Schools Day. Visit http://www.achurchnearyou.com for more information about other churches.
North York Moors National Park
We are proud to be situated in the heart of the North York Moors National Park and we enjoy a range of activities with park rangers through the school year.
