St Hilda's Church, Egton and St Matthew's Church, Grosmont

There is a strong bond between our local Churches, the School and the two villages it serves, Egton and Grosmont, so that there is a real sense of sharing in the life of the community

School life has a strong Christian foundation nurtured by the commitment of those who work in it, those who govern it and the care of the community that surrounds it.  We celebrate Harvest and Christingle with the parish community, in the two churches and the school takes part in services at other Christian festivals throughout the year.

Children are encouraged to attend Church services with the school and join in Church activities. Local ministers take a regular Act of Worship and play an active part in the life of the School.

Both churches are part of the Benefice of Middle Esk Moor which encompasses the parishes of Egton and Egton Bridge, Goathland, Lealholm, Glaisdale and Grosmont.

Our vicar is the Reverend Paul Jackson, The Vicarage, Egton.

We are belong to the Diocese of York, our mother church being York Minster.  Our older children visit York Minster for Diocesan Schools Day. Visit http://www.achurchnearyou.com for more information about other churches.
